Vivid Perceptions LLC is a San Diego studio led by Calvin Collins Jr. and his creative partner Kimberly Blythe. Together they build luxury photography and cinematic films for weddings, brands, and private commissions.
Calvin’s path through drawing, retinal photography, and cinematography shaped a studio obsessed with how light, texture, and rhythm can reframe a memory. Every commission is treated as a single, layered composition rather than a checklist of coverage.
We work with a small number of clients each year so we can pour real craft into pre-production, direction, and finishing. The result is imagery designed to outlast a trend and hold up as an heirloom.
